7 Playboy models recreate their cover photos from 30 years ago

“Once a Playmate, always a Playmate.” It’s a line said by Hugh Hefner, and it holds true for seven Playboy models who have recreated their cover photos – from three decades ago.

The shoot by photographers Ben Miller and Ryan Lowry, was done to celebrate women of all ages. To show that, in the words of Playboy chief creative officer Cooper Hefner, “beauty is ageless, sex appeal is timeless and exuberance is eternal.”

The models featured are Kimberley Conrad Hefner (1988), Charlotte Kemp (1982), Cathy St. George (1982), Monique St. Pierre (1978), Renee Tenison (1989), Candace Collins (1979), and Lisa Matthews (1990).

“I was thrilled and then terrified and then determined — determined to make this shoot something I would be proud of and also, in a way, let the world know that women of a certain age still have a lot of fight and spirit left in them long after their ‘20s disappear’,” said Collins.

She added: “[Lowry’s] first words to me were, ‘Boy, I really think you’re brave to do this.’ I wasn’t sure whether to laugh or cry.”
