Korean artist makes cute tattoos inspired by clients’ beloved pets

Here’s one way to make sure your furry friends never leave you again. Today we’re shining a light on South Korean tattoo artist Jiran, who’s been turning heads with a unique cartoonish style of skin art.

Jiran is famous for inking pet lovers with tattoos of their pets, but the obvious trademark is their depiction in silly, imaginative ways.

In plenty of Jiran’s work, the minimalist creations are shown with a curious leaf, and often with a frenzied, wide-eyed look. The style’s creativity is most evident when photos of the subjects are placed beside their ink counterparts, and the ‘personality’ of the pets come out most.
