Law student travels the world to take stunning photos with animals

While most people travel to see famous landmarks, one Aussie is traveling to meet the ‘locals’.

Sarah Kohan is a 22-year-old law student from Sydney. She’s currently finishing exchange courses at Harvard University and Columbia University, but in her downtime, she loves to go out and see the world.

Some of the places she’s been to are the Cook Islands, Hawaii, the Bahamas, Bora Bora, and many parts of South America.

During her trips, Kohan likes to meet the local wildlife. She’s had her photo taken with pigs who love the beach, iguanas, sharks, whales, sea turtles, more pigs, and more sharks.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, Kohan described her love for animals and how tourists should first respect them before trying to snap a selfie.

“When I’m underwater and swimming with a whale, it seems like nothing else matters – seeing an animal in their element and being able to interact with them without feeling scared or them feeling vulnerable – that’s nice to see.

Rolling in the deep with my babies 🙌🏽🐋✨💙(my first ever black and white post 🙈what do you think?!)

She added: “They’re beautiful creatures and so unique. People always need to be respectful of their surroundings and appreciate that they are just a beautiful animal.”
