The ‘Leave Me Alone’ sweater is what every introvert needs

When earphones aren’t enough to tell people to go away, one cleverly-knitted sweater just might do the trick.

Called the Leave Me Alone sweater, this piece of clothing isolates you from the world by forming a cocoon-like hoodie around your head.

According to maker Ruth Grace of Instructables, it can be worn in three ways: cowl neck, off-the-shoulder, and Leave Me Alone. She warns though that it’s more of a statement rather than a functional piece of clothing.

“I can’t see anything trough my sweater,” she said. “If you find yourself using the leave me alone mode a lot, you could add eye holes.”

Some commenters noted that it would be great for long plane rides, noisy dorms, and even for those with autism spectrum disorders. You can head on over here to see the tutorial.
