This crochet pattern lets you make your own huggable AT-AT Walker

Poland-based artist Kamila Krawczyk has come up with a Star Wars AT-AT walker that’s so cute, even the rebels wouldn’t dare blow it up.

The plush toy features stubby legs, puppy dog eyes, and a bulging belly. Most AT-AT walkers you see evoke fear and despair, but Kamila’s version actually makes you want to give it a hug!

The best part is that she’s selling the crochet pattern for the doll so you can make your own.

“This pattern is for the medium advanced crocheters,” said Kamila. “You should know basic crochet stitches including chain, slip stitch, single crochet, decrease, increase, double crochet, half double crochet, treble and how to start with magic ring.”

The doll, once finished, measures about 10 inches tall and 11 inches long. But what’s to stop you from making a life-sized 20-metre version?
