There’s been more tragic news for the Reynolds-Fisher family.
Debbie Reynolds was rushed to hospital earlier this morning – just one day after her daughter, Star Wars icon, Carrie Fisher, passed away.
She was 84-years-old.
Her son, Todd Fisher, told Variety that “She wanted to be with Carrie.”
She was taken to a Los Angeles hospital earlier this morning after a suspected stroke and passed away hours ago.
The cause of death has not yet been confirmed.
Reynolds was one of the MGM’s biggest talents in the post-war years, starring in classic films such as Singin’ in the Rain and The Unsinkable Molly Brown.
More to come.
