Vifa Oslo: a wireless speaker that shows the beauty of minimalism

The simplistic design of Vifa Oslo proves that following the ‘less is more’ mantra is sometimes the better choice.

Oslo is the fourth wireless speaker series released by Danish manufacturer Vifa. The portable amplifier’s super chic design is visually appealing and can easily pass off as a portable art installation.

It’s no wonder Vifa presents it as a creation that was “invented to be noticed.”

The device,  made in collaboration with leading textile manufacturer Kvadrat, was draped in custom made wool covers, giving it a surprisingly soft textile-like texture. It’s available in a dynamic range of vivid color options – from Sunset Red (limited edition), to Ocean Blue, to Sand Yellow.

Advertised as the audio device that offers more than meets the eyes, Vifa Osla is not only here to replace your boring speakers with its gorgeous minimal design. The Danish manufacturer wants you to buy their product for its magnificent audio, which they said will allow you to be engulfed in the sound of music.

Since its launch, the Oslo range has received excellent reviews. In fact, the range even received a metascore of 82 on the Techspot website.

The Vifa Oslo speaker is currently selling for the price of EUR 499 (about AUD $760) with free shipping. Yea, quality does come with a price.
