Renowned premium steak restaurant, Prime, has announced an all-premium-meat menu, officially making it a meat lover’s paradise.
Earlier this month, the restaurant decided to launch the world’s first premium meat-only degustation menu. A menu that consists of seven unique courses that will please all red meat lovers.
Voted as one of the best steakhouses in Sydney, the chefs at Prime are very diligent about the cuts of the meat used in their cooking. The menu features only the highest quality cuts that are hand-picked by the Head Chef, Erwan Helary.
“We’ve hand-selected steaks with supreme marbling, texture, and flavour for a premium steak experience,” said Helary.
The beef is selected based on the presence of marbling, texture, and flavour. Only the finest cuts will be the “chosen ones” to be included in the degustation menu.
“All of our beef is sourced from the nation’s top producers and grilled in our own unique way to avoid charring,” he said.
According to the Prime website, the offering was introduced to complement its award-winning a la carte menu. It aims to showcase Australia’s finest steaks and features seven exceptional courses that include a full blood Wagyu 9+, a Black Angus, and Angus-Hereford Yearling.
The steaks are paired with a range of house-made sauces that help elevate the taste of the red meat. And, they also come with fantastic side dishes such as foie gras, quail yolk, and truffle jus.
As good as it sounds, Prime’s degustation menu can be quite pricey. It is currently it is currently priced at AUS$185 (US$138) per person or AUS$260 (US$195) with matching wine.
