London’s mysterious beauty, captured on foggy days

While London isn’t as foggy or smoggy as it used to be (and thank goodness for that — check out the Great Smog of 1952), the city still has days when a thick blanket can be seen lingering over Westminster and Southwark.

London photographer Radu Negru (who goes by ‘The Radu’) recently shared his images of a foggy London, showing off the city’s beauty beneath the thick ‘pea soup‘. Some iconic landmarks are barely even noticeable!

Negru says, “There’s not as much fog in London as one thinks. It takes a lot of chasing in advance on the weather apps for those few good old fashion foggy days. Most likely it happens early Spring or Autumn. As a photographer I find this is London at its best.”
