Conservationist Damian Aspinall brought up a gorilla named Kwibi at the Howletts Wild Animal Park in England until he was five years old. Damian then returned Kwibi to the jungles of west Africa so the ape could live free.
But in 2010 — five years later — Damian ventured to Gabon to reunite with the now ten-year-old lowland gorilla.
There was a lot of concern, as Kwibi had attacked the last two people who tried to approach him.
But when Damian returned? Kwibi invited him into his jungle home, and even clung onto Damian when he tried to leave.
When Damian finally got into the small boat to go back to camp, guess who followed across the river?
This video is sure to make you cry with happiness — gorillas are such precious animals.
