Valentine’s Day is even better with pun-filled greeting cards

This Valentine’s Day, ditch the cheesy, sentimental poems and give your date something they truly deserve: bad (yet adorable) puns.

Los Angeles-based artist Alexis Rawlins creates greeting cards that express romance through the use of animal and food puns. For instance, one card shows two otters holding hands with the caption, ‘You’re my significant otter’, while another depicts a koala saying, ‘I love you-calyptus’. Har-har-har!

Other punny designs include pairs of ghosts, dinosaurs, and tacos. Rawlins also makes greeting cards for other occasions, like birthdays and holidays.

You can purchase her pun-tastic work over on Etsy.
