A church renovated into a private home is absolutely heavenly

In Chicago, an old church has been renovated into a home that you could say is quite… heavenly.

Designed by ‘Scrafano Architects’ and ‘Linc Thelen Design’ for a family of five, the 5,500 square foot home features seven bedrooms, six bathrooms, and a climbing wall. More impressive though is that remnants of its religious past – such as bell tower, stained glass windows, ceiling turnbuckles, and exposed brickwork – were kept intact and were even made as focal points in the space’s design.

These old elements combined with newer ones, such as modern lighting fixtures and stylish wallpapers, would definitely make anyone praise this luxury home! You can head on over here to see more photos.
