If food came to life, this is what they’d be doing in their daily lives

Malaysian designer Chow Hon Lam (previously) has come up with a series of illustrations that imagines what it would be like if food came to life. Spoiler: It’s pretty darn cute.

Most of his artworks involve food having fun during summer time. For instance, a sushi couple comfortably lie down on the sand using their salmon toppings as beach blankets, while a slice of toast gets a generous serving of peanut butter sunscreen. Some, on the other hand, mix some dark humor into everyday life, like a donut running away from a hungry mouth or an egg getting cracked from a bad fall.

It’s a witty series that will leave you smiling and running to the fridge. You can see more Chow’s works here.
