It took eight years to make this glass slipper so you can feel like Cinderella

For the rest of us without fairy godmothers, you can now have your own Cinderella glass slipper that shows off your groovy pedicure. Sold in sizes 22.5, 23, 23.5, 24 and 24.5, fret not if your hooves don’t fit into them because you can still have them custom-made. Just cough up 86,400 yen (US$697).

Your twisted wish is granted by the artisans of Nakamura Glass Studio in Japan, whose master craftsmen took almost eight years to perfect the technology needed to make it. Apparently, no moulds or cutting are even required.

Sold singularly, and wearable on either foot, it doesn’t come with a prince riding on a white horse. So don’t go stamping your pretty foot about this or the slipper will shatter.
