Jesus goes to London, gets his own hashtag and meets adoring fans

Wearing a pair of Nike sneakers and dressed in a flimsy linen thawb, Jesus strolled around the streets of London this month, and if you were lucky enough to catch him, you might’ve been able to grab a selfie with him, or even a hug. Creative agency Mother London took Jesus on as a client to see what would happen on the streets of London when J.C. was let loose.

The reactions are quite positive so far. People have laughed, cried, hugged him, and even shouted out ‘Praise the Lord!’ to show their excitement about seeing him.

In Los Angeles, ‘Hollywood Jesus’, as he’s known, is a huge celebrity. His real name is Kevin Lee Light and he began walking the streets of LA as Jesus seven years ago. Why? We’re not sure, but if one person can bring this much joy to people, why not? Oh, and if you do see Jesus while he’s across the pond, make sure to tag your pics on social media with the hashtag #ifoundjesusinlondon.
