Doing what they do everyday, ants have created this spectacular art

You might know of Brad Troemel. He’s the controversial artist that rose to fame with a collection of irreverent images (which you can see on his Tumblr account).

In his latest work, LIVE/WORK, Troemel has created brightly coloured cases that hang elegantly from the art gallery ceiling. And it just so happens that each case is filled with edible gel that ants can eat as they burrow their way deeper and deeper into the transparent cases.

Each case correlates to a not-for-profit organization, with money going to the charity that possesses the longest tunnels created by the ants.
