Shortly before he died, Robin Williams recorded this message for a terminally ill woman in New Zealand

The outpouring of emotional tributes in the wake of comic genius Robin Williams’s tragic suicide last year has continued with so many examples put forward about his generosity of spirit and his willingness to go the extra mile to help someone in need. Or just cheer them up, as with this short but sweet message Williams recorded for 21 year old Vivian Walleris who was in an Auckland hospital with lung, bowel and liver cancer.

Walleris, who found out about her diagnosis in January, had created a bucket-list, with one of the items being a message from Robin Williams. Fortunately, someone in the US was able to make this happen. This recording is so poignant in so many ways.
