Vale Robin Williams: Watch what happens when this gorilla asks for a tickle from actor Robin Williams

Robin Williams was unquestionably one of the great comic geniuses of our time, but like so many before him, battled demons that were clearly overpowering in the end. He will be sorely, sorely missed. In this video below, we revisit one of his most tender moments, sharing laughs and tickles with Koko the gorilla.

Koko is one smart gorilla who is trained in American Sign Language. When she met Robin Williams, she seemed to sense the funny bone in the comedian and started signing she wanted nothing more than a tickling match with Williams. [watch the video here]

The latter happily complied and from what you see of the resulting interaction, it was one afternoon they’ll both remember for a very long time.
