Architects at the Iranian firm NextOffice have built an incredible new residence, complete with moving parts. The Sharifi-Ha house in Tehran comes with instructions that show the inhabitants how they can rotate whole sections of the three-story building at the push of a button.

The original concept was developed in order to create a structure that optimized both space and light in a difficult plot of land that was long and narrow. The result is this amazing building that shifts at the touch of a button. During the warmer months residents can transform office space or dining area into a sun-drenched balcony or vice versa.

How is this the first time we’ve seen this?!
