This washing machine will keep your clothes clean with dirt-sucking robot fish

As part of the Electrolux Design Lab competition, industrial design student Chan Yeop Jeong submitted a concept idea for Pecera, a washing machine that washes clothes without detergent. Instead, taking a cue from the popular Dr Fish feet treatment — which has little Garra Rufa fish nibbling at the dead skin cells of feet — the washing machine reduces environmental pollution and comes with tiny robot fish with suction mouths that eat away the dirt of clothes. The design itself is decidedly more chic than the usual boxy washing machine.
