In the series ‘Pixel Interpretation’, artist Scott Johnson took some of our classic 8-bit characters and portrayed them from a more accurate perspective. Meaning to say, he gave characters like Mario, Link, and Samus, realistic body parts according to their sprites in the video games.
The result is nothing short of grotesque and misshapen. Mario, for instance, has a nose that’s nearly as big as his face, and he has hands that are longer than his legs! It also doesn’t help that he has sickly yellow skin and a mossy green moustache. If you think Mario has it bad, just take a look at Link!
