Some of this planet’s most dazzling islands lie just off the coast of Queensland, Australia. The Whitsundays, some 74 islands strong, are overflowing with natural beauty and boasting pristine beaches and clear waters.
This Monday, Tourism and Events Queensland launched their new campaign to draw public attention to breathtaking archipelago. Entitled Every Shade Of Perfect, the campaign takes the form of a video shot entirely on a smart phone accompanied by several behind the scenes videos to show how it was made. The concept behind using a smartphone to shoot the thirty second vid is that no special effects,digital enhancement or high-tech equipment was needed to spruce up the commercial, the Whitsundays are simply already beautiful enough.
Chief Executive of TEQ Leanne Coddington said in a press release: ‘Every Shade of Perfect is an innovative and engaging marketing campaign which supports the Whitsundays’ vision to be globally recognised as one of the world’s leading tropical island and marine leisure holiday destinations’.
No doubt by the time you read this, the whole Lost At E Minor team will there be swimming with turtles… or whatever it is that people do in paradise.
