Reddit user yoderaustin, purportedly the son of artist Andy Yoder, recently started a thread with pictures of his dad’s pet project: a rather huge globe (over half his height) painstakingly constructed from matchsticks in the last two years, with each matchstick head individually colored to reflect clouds, the sea and land mass.

It even comes complete with Hurricane Sandy. If this isn’t dedication, we don’t know what is. Also makes us wonder whether it really is quite a fire hazard.
