This lady morphs herself into different pop culture characters using only makeup

Ah, the magic of makeup indeed! With the right application, it can turn beautiful, young women into monsters and villains that’ll scare the bejeebers out of you. Just take a look at makeup artist Elsa Rhae for example. One moment she’s a stunning lady, the next she’s a White Walker.

To create the amazing face paintings, she sits patiently in front of a mirror for a few hours, working on her transformation until she can barely be recognizable. Some her past transformations include Captain Planet (nailed it!), Halo’s Master Chief, The Joker, The Grinch, Mortal Kombat’s Scorpion and Sub Zero.

What’s more incredible is that she’s only been practicing for less than a year and has had no professional training whatsoever! ‘I went to school for a degree in Film and Media studies. My last semester I needed an elective so I decided to take stage makeup’, she shares on her Facebook page. ‘I’ve been doing this for less than a year, I don’t know where this came from, I have no professional training besides a youtube degree.. but all of that works just fine for me’.

You can check out more of her works on Facebook and Instagram.
