The world’s smallest comic is on a strand of hair

Juana Knits the Planet is the smallest comic in the world. The comic has been ‘microfabricated with an ion beam’ onto a strand of human hair, with 12 frames, each measuring 25 micrometres.

The comic was originally drawn by Claudia Puhlfürst,who obviously had a lot of patience – do you know how small a strand of hair is? It’s about 80 micrometres wide. That’s insane!
