Weird sports of the world: photos by Sol Neelman

If you’ve traveled a little, you’ll realize just how many sports there are in this world. And how many of them are just plain weird (I’m looking at you, American football). But what about the really weird sports? Like ostrich racing or bog snorkeling or even chessboxing? These sports are hilarious, yes, but totally legit, too.

Photographer Sol Neelman shot these fantastic pictures during his travels. And if you love these, you’re in luck – Neelman just succeeded in raising funds for his new book, Weird Sports 2.
