CJ Kale waited five long years for the right conditions to present so he could shoot lava in Kalapana on the Big Island of Hawaii. When he finally got lucky, he entered the waters from the ocean surf with his camera, and what happened next was legendary. The pictures are amazing, needless to say. If this isn’t crazy, we’re not sure what is.
