Unhappily Ever After: illustrations by Jeff Hong

Ever wondered what a Nickelodeon storyboard animator does in his spare time? He re-imagines how Disney films might look if they had more realistic endings. NYC-based Jeff Hong is the animator of this super cool series that shows us what might’ve happened at the end of all those super sweet endings of a Disney film.

Bambi might’ve become a mounted head! Pocahontas might be benefiting from casinos on tribal land. And Mulan might be wearing a face mask from all that smog. Perhaps more children films should show the realities of life – we’d have a lot less to feel disappointed about that way!
