Introducing pen spinning, the epic trend that is sweeping through Taiwan

Remember when you were a kid and you were doing all sorts of Bic pen twirling tricks with your friends? Well, prepare to be outclassed! Pen spinning masters Ian Jenson and PPM shows us that twirling and playing around with pens can become a graceful art form in the video ‘Epic Pen Spinning’.

Produced by Taiwanese production company Kuma Films, the short features the two performing some pretty jaw dropping tricks like: juggling and spinning simultaneously, synchronized spinning, and person-to-person pen transfers. It’s also great that the video goes into slow motion at times, allowing us to appreciate the art of pen spinning and making us go, ‘how the hell do they do that?’

Currently, PPM is a semi-finalist at the Pen Spinning World Cup 2014.
