Zen Float Tent: Now you can own a personal flotation tank

Salt Lake City-baed Zen Float Co has a plan to get people floating in the comfort of their own homes. It all started when one of its founders, Shane Stott, built his own DIY flotation tank in his basement in 2011. Then he started helping others build their tanks. Now he’s roped in fellow flotation enthusiast William Hill and his brother Sean Stott to make the steel-framed, pyramid-shaped Zen Float Tent for its first mass-produced run of 150. Within the tent, ten inches of water is heated to skin temperature and saturated with 800 lbs of Epsom salt to create the weightless environment for the water. Wow.
