Finally, an airplane armrest two people can share

The Paperclip Armrest is what every air traveller has been dreaming of the moment the person next to them stole the armrest. This design concept is by Hong Kong-based Paperclip Design Limited, which ‘solves the problems inherent in the typical shared armrest concept so often employed in high-density seating like airplanes by providing an elevated spot for a second forearm to rest’.

Looks good, right? But it still looks like you have to get within the other person’s personal space to even use this thing. I think I prefer just sitting on my hands for that 12-hour flight.
