Stunning portraits of freediver in deep water without equipment

Photographer Ian Derry shot a stunning series of French freediving champ Guillaume Nery doing his thing underwater — and by that, we mean taking a deep breath and diving up to 125 metres underwater sans diving equipment. Yep, Nery belongs to that rare breed of free divers — the only other ones we know of are the Mermaids of Jeju — and the sheer poetry of his underwater moves is wonderfully captured by Derry.
