Amazing paper curling artworks by Gunjan Aylawadi

Sydney-based artist Gunjan Aylawadi does some pretty impressive work with the old humble sheet of paper. Aylawadi says she developed this method of using paper ‘after spending a log time exploring paper sculptures’. She also explains on her website what she loves most about creating these pieces: ‘What I enjoy most about making my work is the experience people have when they look at it. They stop for a moment to have a closer look and the moment turns into long minutes of being fascinated by the beauty a simple medium like paper can add to the work infront of their eyes’.
