Scotland’s whiskey river is a thing … kinda

Whiskey lovers, head on over to Scotland and be on the lookout! A whiskey bottling plant accidentally spilled 1,700 gallons of the spirit into the Scottish River Ayr. It happened when a tanker filled with more than 7,000 gallons of whiskey started pumping the liquid into a vat that was already full.

The spill was equivalent to 7,143 bottles of spirits at 67% strength! Unfortunately you probably won’t gain much out of traveling to this area of the River Ayr, as the spill happened back in 2011, with the company who caused the spill fined just last week.
