Wedding dress made from divorce papers

Ever wondered at the precise definition of irony? Well thanks to Demi Barnes and her incredible wedding dress constructed purely from divorce papers, now you know. Last year, at the tender age of 15, the school girl created the dress from over 1500 divorce papers for her Art GCSE in just ten hours! Fortunately she did not have to source 1500 different papers.

Instead, she found one on the internet, which she downloaded and then photocopied over and over again. When she received a torrent of local media attention, Barnes said that the dress was intended to emphasise how important the sacred institution of marriage is, especially in the face of ever-climbing divorce rates.
