Two months in Germany left such a huge impression on a Singaporean as a student, that when she grew up and bought her own 5-room flat, she decided to renovate it to resemble some sort of ornate European art museum, complete with Victorian details, gold trimmings, hanging chandeliers, candles, oil paintings, a fake fireplace, and faux flowers sticking out everywhere.

Don’t know about you, but we would have a heart attack if we had to come home to this every day. The place has to be filed in ‘WTF’ and preferably never remembered again.
