Fancy a Bookish Banquet? Feast on literary meals inspired by books

If you are one of these cultured individuals who know there are few pleasures in life that rival a good book or a good meal, you can rejoice in the most refined manner you can now. Taking reading and eating to a new level is Amsterdam-based Bookish Banquet. At its events, a book is picked for dinner, to which a specially tailored menu of meals inspired by the literary work is served. At one of its recent dinners for The Life of Pi, the bittersweet Farewell Richard Parker pumpkin pie with pecan brittle was dessert.
