A photo series of pizzas hanging out in unusual places
Or alternatively titled: ‘Pizzas that decided to hang out in places that are not my belly’. Los Angeles-based photographer Jonpaul Douglass’ ‘Pizza in the Wild’ photo series began after seeing a funny pizza graffiti near his home. He then decided to place real-life pepperoni pizzas on random objects and places, capturing the humorous scenes on his iPhone and posting them on Instagram with the hashtag #pizzainthewild.
His pizza of choice is Little Caesar’s – mainly for its cheap $5 price tag – and so far he’s placed them on top of a pony, on basketball rims, on a tank, on bushes, and on hub caps. When asked by ‘The Atlantic Cities’ whether he eats the pizzas after, he confessed that he did a few times, except the one on the pony.
