First there was the umami burger. But now Adam Fleischman (the creator of Umami Burger) has taken his culinary experiments a step further. Chocolate fried chicken. Yes! This isn’t your typical Mexican mole sauce (where some contain chocolate).

Fleischman says of his new creation, ‘This isn’t mole’, traditional fried chicken, or even chicken just dipped in chocolate. It is a whole new style of fried chicken that you just have to taste to believe. It’s got the ‘crack factor’. He also says that chocolate will enhance the dish and that it ‘tastes like happiness’. You know what else tastes like happiness? Regular, old fashioned fried chicken.

There’s no opening date yet, but if the success of Umami Burger is anything to go by, this place is going to be swarming with hipsters and experimental foodies.
