A Kickstarter to make Barbie medieval armour has nearly raised its funds!

Always wanted Barbie to be a bit of a medieval badass? You’re in luck! There’s a Kickstarter campaign running to  make ‘Faire Play’, Barbie-compatible 3D printed medieval armour. The project is being run by Jim Rodda, the guy behind the hobbysit 3D printing community Zheng3. Rodda says the armour is to see Barbie cosplay as Brienne of Tarth.

The great thing about this design is that it’s going to be distributed under a Creative Commons License, meaning you’ll be able to modify, redistribute and even sell the digital blue prints and their derivatives.
