Introducing Renault’s Kwid concept car (complete with its own flying companion)

Feast your eyes on Renault’s Kwid concept car, revealed at the Delhi Auto Show 2014. This car aims to ‘meet the needs of young customers’ in new markets such as India, Russia and Brazil.

The car comes with a two-wheel drive transmission but has been made to look just like an off-road car with its protruding wheels and capsule-like design. The dashboard is ‘an integrated tablet for commanding the navigation of the Flying Companion,’ too. Flying Companion? You bet! Renault has built the Kwid with a Flying Companion that ‘scout traffic, take landscape pictures and detect obstacles on the road ahead’. That’s pretty advanced. Almost too advanced for what I’m used to driving!
