Minimalist News: current news now in ultra-short form

Sometimes you just want the news without all the speculation and gossip. And without all those words. An anonymous student in France has run with the idea of keeping headline news concise – extremely concise – and created Minimalist News. This fun and quirky news service is available on Twitter and Facebook and chooses to announce its headlines by minimalist graphics.

NSA news? It’s a smartphone with the NSA on the screen. The Crimea and Russia crisis? It’s a simple map with both Ukrainian and Russian flags. A pretty neat idea considering how busy we all are in this day and age!
