Embroidered microbes will kill you with their cuteness

Line the walls of your beautiful home with deadly parasites and bacteria with these embroidered microbes by Etsy seller Alicia Watkins. Her store, ‘Watty’s Wall Stuff’, sells her cross stitched creations, which range from gangsta mottos to Patrick Stewart to zombie welcome signs. But the items that have caught our fancy are these embroideries of Herpes, Gonorrhea, Syphilis, Black Mold, the common cold, and other microbes. Because what’s the point of Herpes’ existence if you can’t decorate your home with it, right?

‘GERMS! They’re everywhere. You can’t avoid them, not entirely — so why not incorporate them into your decor?’ Watkins says on her website. ‘If you’re into science, or just germs, or cleanliness, or if you’re a hypochondriac, you might like to see your interests/worst fears immortalized in stitchwork. Luckily, now you can’.

You can see more of her amazing and diverse cross stitch work on her Etsy store.
