Magazines showing modern slavery for women in shocking campaign

To raise awareness of international women’s struggle for rights, crowdfunding site Catapult created a very interesting (and startling) campaign. In this visual campaign, three mock magazine covers were designed to ‘highlight terrifyingly real human rights issues’ and to ‘push the conversation forward’.

Mock magazine names include Child Bride, Good Slavekeeping and Thirteen. It may look like a joke, but the sole purpose of Catapult is to make the world a better place for girls and women. And since organizations working for girls and women ‘currently raise less than half the average amount raised by other nonprofits and charities’, it seems like a great, though shocking way to get the message across.
