Check out the world’s coolest college buildings

International building database Emporis has just released a list of ‘the most spectacular university buildings around the globe’. You’ll be amazed to see the beautiful architecture on this list, because it includes almost every country. One of the buildings that made it on the list is the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico, which opened in 1956.

The outside of this building is covered in a tiled mosaic painted by Juan O’Gorman and ‘represents a part of Mexico’s past: pre-Hispanic, colonial, contemporary and the university’s place in modern Mexico’. Other buildings on the list include Bradfield Hall at Cornell University, the main building at Lomonosov Moscow State University, and Mode Gakuen Cocoon Tower in Tokyo.
