Australian bank turns ATMs into GAYTMs in celebration of Sydney’s LGBT parade

Have you ever seen ATMs more fabulous than these GAYTMs in Sydney? I don’t think so! The ANZ Bank in Australia partnered up with TBWA/Whybin Melbourne to celebrate and show its support for the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras. They commissioned artists to give ten of their ATMs some much needed makeovers, decking the machines out in colourful and bedazzled designs.

The computers themselves were in the mood for the gay parade, as they told clients things like, ‘Cash out and proud’ and ‘Hello gorgeous’. The receipts even came in rainbow colours!

The bank will also donate its ATM operator fees for cardholders from other banks to Twenty10, an organization that provides assistance and guidance to young people in the midst of coming out or discovering their sexual identities.
