Animation: The Secret Monsters Of Atsushi Wada

A strong tradition of influential animated film continues to pour out of Japan. Atsushi Wada is a celebrated animator producing a truly distinctive artistic vision. The prolific Wada has earned a number of impressive awards for his fascinating work including the Best Film at Fantoche International Animation Film Festival in 2010 and the Silver Bear at the Berlin Film Festival in 2012.

Atsushi’s film Anomalies was recently included in Animate Projects production for Random Acts’ special theme titled Secret Monsters, designed to honor the 80th anniversary of the first photograph believed to have captured the image of the infamous Loch Ness Monster.
