Get this! This old school dot matrix printer plays Eye of the Tiger

The ultimate song for pre-workout routines and training montages, Survivor’s Eye of the Tiger, just got a tribute from a machine, specifically a dot matrix printer. Made last year by MIDIDesaster, the video shows an old matrix printer belting out tunes from the iconic song, albeit in a robotic rendition.

To create the song playing machine, he converted the printer into a MIDI sound generator that can play up to 21 notes at the same time.

He has also created covers of other songs like, ‘Having A Blast’ by Green Day, ‘Everlong’ by the Foo Fighters, and ‘The Benny Hill Show’ theme song, which includes the technical explanation of how the device came to be.
