‘Cinismo Ilustrado’ which translates to ‘Cynicism Illustrated’, is a cynical but witty series of illustrations by illustrator and designer Eduardo Sales, in which he expresses his thoughts on technology, pop culture, the economy, religion, politics, and trends.

The hilarious and thought-provoking series of posters contain viewpoints and sarcastic jabs that make us re-think about everyday life with lines like, ‘Life is what happens to you while you’re looking at your smartphone’. Some images are cute, but contain sad messages, like the one where a homeless man is holding a sign that says, ‘please like me’, with a thumbs up similar to that of Facebook.

His series is something that will amuse and entertain, but at the same time, rattle your beliefs and notion of the status quo.
