Romain Laurent’s animated portraits will make you smile

Romain Laurent sure knows how to grab our attention. This fun artist has challenged himself to created a looped animated portrait each week since last September, and by the looks of things, he’s doing himself proud.

He says: ‘As far as the intention of the series, it’s a way for me to explore a hybrid medium, experiment and being spontaneous while still sticking to a short weekly deadline.’ Laurent also explains that there isn’t a common concept between each loop and that he just goes with the flow. Going with the flow is ok by us – just look at how creative and hilarious some of his work is.

Take a look at his animated work here.
